Nurse Delegation offers a more cost-effective means to licensed Nursing care when medication administration is required and family members are not available or they do not wish to accept this responsibility.

Nurse Delegation allows our caregivers to receive specific direction to administer medications or perform procedures that might otherwise require a family member or medical professional to be present. This can be very helpful when your loved one can no longer take medications with assistance only. Nurse Delegation requires client and caregiver specific training on tasks that are usually only performed by licensed nurses.

Our RN Care Managers will provide specific nurse delegation procedures for the trained caregiver. Our RN Care Manager will witness and document the licensed caregiver's ability to complete the delegated task to a satisfactory level of safety and competency on an on-going basis. Training, monitoring, and documentation of the caregiver's ability to perform the delegated task is required.

Our Caregivers are trained and experienced Nursing Assistants who administer medications or perform procedures and identify and report symptoms to our RN care managers as they occur.
