The home is the appropriate place to deliver health care to those persons who wish to remain independent but have the need for care that is beyond the scope and ability of family and friends to provide. Studies have shown that treating people in their personal surroundings is more conducive to recovery and may even speed the recovery process.
Fedelta Home Care delivers highly skilled services that enable elderly, chronically ill, disabled and recuperating patients to receive medical treatment in the comfort and privacy of their home.
Fedelta Home Care’s goals are the following:
- Assisting and facilitating the client's transition from a hospital or other health care facility to their own home.
- Helping the family through counseling, teaching, and coordinating of community services.
- Working with the hospital and medical staff to develop home care services to meet the needs of the client.
- Maintaining function appropriate to individual capabilities, lifestyle, and stage of life.
- Administer health care services for clients in the home.

Nurse Delegation allows our caregivers to receive special training to administer some medications or conduct some procedures that might otherwise require a family member or other medical professional to be present. Examples of these services include:
- Medication assistance
- Blood glucose testing
- Simple dressings
- Colostomy care
Nurse Delegation requires client and caregiver specific training on tasks that are usually only performed by licensed nurses. We have Registered Nurses (RN's) on staff at Fedelta Home Care to monitor and administer nurse delegated services.
Skilled Nursing Services are provided by Registered Nurses (RN's) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's). Nurses provide the skilled care to meet a medical need and care is delivered in accordance with orders given by a physician and defined in a care plan. Examples of these services include:
- Medication Administration & Delegation
- Vital Signs & Glucose Monitoring
- Post-Surgical Care
- Cosmetic Surgery After Care
- Medical Research
- Bowel & Bladder Management
- Hospice Care
- Administration of Injections (B12, insulin, rheumatology, autoimmune medications)
- Laboratory Testing
- Case Management
Home Care Services are provided by Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA). Oftentimes, RN and LPN nursing services are supplemented with the assistance of a home care caregiver.
