One of the complaints that arises in the care industry is poor and inconsistent record keeping. This “human error” element can lead to inconsistent care and frustrating communication between the family and the caregivers. To eliminate that hazard, Fedelta has implemented technology solutions which manage all aspects of each client’s records.

At Fedelta Home Care, caregivers must be compassionate, sensitive, responsible, and
deeply committed to providing our clients with the highest quality care and companionship. We employ Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA) and Companions.

CNAs and HHAs work in your home under the supervision of a certified Geriatric Care Manager. While CNAs cannot perform medical duties, they are trained to observe conditions and report any changes to their supervisors. They can also receive delegation duties from a Registered Nurse.

All Fedelta caregivers provide non-medical health-related services and perform a variety of household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, pet care, errand assistance, light housekeeping, and other non-health related duties.

All our caregivers must pass a rigorous series of tests, including a validated competency test, to ensure they can and will consistently provide the quality of service that we demand.

Hiring the right people is critical to our quality commitment. Every caregiver is subject to an in-depth background screening process which includes:

	Washington State Patrol search (many in-home care services stop here)
	Washington State Department of Health credential verification
	Local and national searches
	Department of Motor Vehicle records check
	Employment verification and reference checks
	Social Security number and work authorization verification

Once a caregiver joins our team, we provide ongoing educational opportunities which include workshops on dementia, proper transfer techniques, effective record keeping, safety standards, and many more topics.
