We take care of family

Respite Care

Respite Care

Please allow us to care for your loved one while you take a break. Caregiving is a full time responsibility. Maybe you need a break, uninterrupted sleep for a few nights, have a vacation planned or an out of town family function. In any of these situations, our specially trained caregivers can provide respite care in your loved one’s home. A Care Manager will supervise and support the assigned caregiver; providing nursing care if necessary.

We will provide companionship, ensure safety, and assist the person in maintaining their daily routine in familiar surroundings. Remaining at home results in less disruption for them and allows you peace of mind and freedom to take a break.

Respite care includes:

  • Maintenance of daily routine and personal preferences.

  • Assistance or provision of personal care.

  • Preparation of meals and light housekeeping.

  • Medication reminders or assistance.

  • Safety checks and supervision of physical activities.

  • Companionship and conversation.

  • Family updates as requested.

  • Prompt RN notification of caregiver concerns with nursing intervention as needed.
