Feldelta Helps Bellevue Couple Choose Assisted Living Center

When a senior spouse provides day-to-day care for a mate suffering from a debilitating disease such as Parkinson's, they can quickly become exhausted and overwhelmed. This was the case with an 85 year-old Bellevue woman. The couple and their children contacted us at Fedelta Care Solutions, seeking our advice and expertise with the senior care choices available to them. We arranged for our Elder Care advisor to visit with the family at their home.

Assisted Living Center Options Explored with Bellevue Senior Couple

We learned that, as his Parkinson's progressed, the 90 year-old husband needed help with personal care such as bathing and grooming, and that he used both a walker and a wheelchair. His wife's health was good, but she was physically drained, and felt she no longer wanted the worry of keeping up their home. We discussed the various elder care housing options in the Bellevue area, and both the couple and their children agreed that an assisted living center was the ideal choice. We recommended several possibilities that matched their exact needs, and took the family to tour their chosen centers.

Aegis of Bellevue Provides Socializing and Geriatric Care

Both husband and wife knew they'd found their new home when we visited Aegis of Bellevue. Just two weeks after the tour, our senior couple moved in to a lovely apartment. While the staff see to her husband's geriatric care needs, his wife can enjoy socializing and taking part in planned activities. They both love the center's exercise facilities and movie theater. Husband and wife have settled right in, and couldn't be happier with their decision. Their children visit frequently, and are thrilled that, thanks to Fedelta, their parents now have assistance and senior care whenever it's needed.
